Worship & Arts Commission
The Worship Commission works with the staff to envision and implement a variety of innovative worship experiences that correspond with the church calendar year. Northaven enjoys a unique setting for worship and the commission uses a variety of resources to help provide meaningful services for our children, youth, and adults.
The Worship Commission’s primary objective is to help the congregation understand the basic structure and content of our worship. We not only aid the staff in planning worship, we also seek to educate the congregation about how our pattern of worship is rooted in Scripture and in our United Methodist heritage and experience.
Our members and visitors are encouraged to volunteer to read the scripture or usher on Sunday mornings and participate in the liturgy of our various of worship services throughout the year.
Volunteers are always welcome to join or drop in at our monthly meetings held on the third Sunday of each month following the worship service.
