World Communion Sunday
Michael Hawn leads a special worship
service this Sunday
Plan to be in worship this coming Sunday, October
2nd, as Northaven celebrates World Wide Communion Sunday. Our service will be a
celebration of the diversity of worship and culture within our faith tradition.
Michael Hawn will be worship and song leader
during this special service. Our worship will feature music, prayers, and
liturgy from around the globe, and a special "Great Thanksgiving" written just
for the day. Our communion table will feature breads from around the globe, as a
symbol of the diversity of God's children. Be sure to be present Sunday, as
through our songs, our prayers, our liturgy and sacrament, we give thanks for
the diversity of God's creation and God's people.
