Three Important Sundays at Northaven Church
Information about the next three Sundays at
Northaven Church
Many Northavener's are still pinching themselves,
but it appears as if our big move to the new Northaven building is now upon us.
The next three Sundays at Northaven will be important and memorable in the life
of our congregation.
Sunday,
October 23: Goodbye to our Education
Building
Before our big move Sunday, we'll
pause on this last Sunday, to say a final goodbye to our Education Building.
It's served Northaven Church well over the years, and many important and
inspiring events in Northaven's history have happened within its
walls.
Sunday, October 30: Move
Sunday
This Sunday's worship will mirror
our final worship service before we moved into our temporary space last April.
We'll remember our connection together as a baptized community of faith, as we
gradually move each element of our worship space (pulpit, baptismal font,
etc...) from our temporary space to the new sanctuary. The service will
culminate with a procession of the entire congregation to the new building. Led
by our altar, bell banner and crucifix, we'll complete our literal journey of
faith to our new holy sanctuary. The service will feature handbells, strings,
and brass.
You won't want to miss this
important day in the life of Northaven
Church.
Sunday, November 6th:
First Sunday/All Saints Sunday
On this day,
as we celebrate worship --and our first communion in our new sanctuary-- we'll
also honor the saints of our church. The past and the future will come together
as we give thanks both for the past of Northaven's ministry, and its bright and
exciting future.
Please make plans now to
be present for all these important upcoming Sundays.
