Decisions

friends, Sunday November 13 at 7 pm

Sunday, November 13 to unpack the recent Judicial Council rulings, share our
common lament and concerns for the situation, and begin to make a plan of
action for the future. The intention is share the best information available
about these rulings, set aside time for the sharing of feelings and prayers of
lament, and then begin to plan a response as God's people
together.Eric Folkerth will present a
brief background of the "facts" of the cases involved, what the rulings in these
cases were, and what implications there are for the both individuals and the
church as a whole. Bill McElvaney will lead a time of lamentation, prayer, and
community sharing. Members of Northaven and their friends will then begin to
develop plans of faithful witness and action in response to these
decisions.For a brief online discussion
