Northaven Hosts the Reconciling MInistries Network Board
And we need your help
The Board of Reconciling Ministries Network will
meet here at Northaven on February 24th and 25th (Friday and Saturday). There
will be 25 to 30 people coming from all over the United States, arriving on
Thursday, February 23. This group works diligently to make the United Methodist
Church more welcoming and inclusive of all
people.
As an expression of our appreciation, there are three particular areas of hospitality that we can offer:
1. Rooms in homes
2. Food. We plan to provide lunch on Friday and Saturday and dinner on Friday.
3. Transportation, which will be needed to and from the airport and to and from church.
If you can help with any of these, there will be a sign-up sheet available after church on Sunday. For more information call Shirley Cooper at 214-337-2371 or Ed Shanklin at 972-466-0039 between noon and 4 p.m.
Parents Reconciling Network will meet on Thursday, February 16, at 7:30 p.m. We will be making final plans for the board meeting at that time.
