Ways You Can Help the Northaven Library
Set to reopen in mid-May
Oour library is nearly ready for business! We have
beautiful custom shelves in place, the shelves for picture books are under
construction, and the desk and library seating are ordered. Our plan is to be
furnished and fully open to the public by mid-May.
So, are you wondering what you can do to
help? Fortunately we have ideas about that! There are two ways that you can
contribute to building a current collection of books that support our church
ministries. First, take a look at our new library web
page.Scroll down the new
library page, and you will see a link to an Amazon.com "Wish List." Click on
the Wish List (be patient β itβs a little slow sometimes) and you
will see specific books that our library needs. You may purchase a book and
have it shipped directly to Northaven β or sent to you to deliver
yourself. Remember that Amazon offers free shipping for orders $25 or over. We
plan to continually update the "Wish List" so as to give you ever new chances to
buy books to grow our library
collection.Below the Wish List you will
see an Amazon search box. Even if you are not purchasing for Northaven please
always enter Amazon via our site. Anytime a purchase is made by using our
Amazon link we will receive a small percentage of the merchandise total. Free
money!! Your privacy is protected β we will not see any of your
information. We will soon have copies of
the Library Collection Development Policy available in the library as well as a
short tutorial on using the Amazon
resources.Thanks for supporting
Northaven's library!
