Teachers Needed for the Fall
A message from our Children's
Ministry
The end of summer is fast approaching and we are
gearing up for our fall children's
classes.
We want to thank all of our summer volunteers who stepped in to make summer Sunday school and Vacation Bible School fun places to be.... If you helped out this summer and caught the bug to teach we would love to have you back for the fall. Or if you have always loved working with kids, but didn't know how you could get involved, this is your chance!.
Several of our regular Sunday school teachers would like to take a year off so that they may enjoy some of the wonderful adult classes we offer.
Our entire 2nd and 3rd grade team is returning and several other teachers are coming back as well (thank you, thank you, thank you).
But we need teachers to help in the following classes - preschool, kindergarten/1st grade, and 4th/5th grade.
Many of our teachers alternate Sundays so that they can stay involved in the adult classes as well, while others want to be there every week. Teacher training is on Saturday, August 19, and we hope to have all the classes covered by then. If you would like more information or would like to volunteer please contact the church office at 214-363-2479 or Valerie Hill at 214-348-6742.
