2006 Advent Study- “A Passion for
Peace”
Mary Lowrance, Minister of Spiritual Formation will be leading an Advent study on a book by Thomas Merton entitled A Passion for Peace. The book presents the core of Merton’s insights into the nature of violence, war and terrorism and the Christian call for active, nonviolent engagement in the world. The study will be offered on Sunday evenings from 5-7 p.m. December 3-December 17. It also be offered on Wednesday mornings from 10-11:30 am on December 6-December 20. (This is the same study offered at different times...)
