Kick Off 2007 the Right
Way
From February 3-10th, the youth group
will be participating in this nationwide movement to turn a day of over-eating
into a day of ultra-giving.
We’ll be collecting “pocket cash” (literally small bills and change) and canned goods to donate to charitable organizations. One hundred percent of your giving will be divided among three ministries that the youth group has helped- The Gleaning Network, The United Methodist -Hinton Rural Center, and the North Texas Conference: Connect to the Kingdom Youth Mission Program. Come to the “Soup Table” to drop off your donations. The game isn’t just on Sunday because you can pick up a Soup Packet to collect from your co-workers and friends too.
Soup, like your love and generosity, goes a long way and is good till the very last drop.
