Join the Congregational Care Team!
A way for us to care for each
other

Organizational plans for the
new Northaven Congregational Care Team are now under way. Each of us needs some
sort of help some time. Whether it’s a death in our family, a trip to the
hospital or some other event that disrupts our lives, there’s going to be
a time when we need a little extra support. That’s where our
congregational care team can be of
service.
Do you have a special gift
you’ve always longed to share with your church community but didn’t
know how to apply? Do you love to cook? Write personal notes? Walk pets? Provide
transportation? Grocery shop? Make in-home visits? Now is your chance to share
your special interest and brighten someone’s day.
Each Sunday during the month of May,
sign-up sheets will be available in the Northaven Church lobby to pull together
a list of our new congregational care team volunteers. Our first organizational
meeting will take place after church on June 3. Lunch will be
provided.
Please consider making a
contribution of personal service to this vital ministry of the church. If you
can make time just to send an e-mail, drop off a dinner, or make a quick phone
call, then you can make a difference in a church member’s life. Come join
in!
