Black Tie Announcement
Northaven honored by the contribution from
Black Tie Dinner
The
Black Tie Dinner has announced its beneficiary distribution for 2007. This year,
the contribution to Northaven is in the amount
of:
$46,648!!!Northaven
Church is extremely grateful to everyone associated with the Black Tie Dinner.
We
offer profuse "thank yous" to: --
The Black Tie Dinner Board-- Northaven's own
hard-working Black Tie Committee; led this year by Marlene Haskell and Trey
Jordan.-- All of our members and friends who
attended the dinner-- The more than 100 hours
volunteered by our members and friends.-- The
many dinner attendees, outside our church, who designated Northaven as a
beneficiary.-- The sponsors who also
designated Northaven as a
beneficiary.For some perspective on our
gift from Black Tie, it is the second-highest total given to any of the
seventeen beneficiaries this year. It is also $2,000 higher than last
year's amount; in a year when the overall distribution was actually down
from the previous year. That makes just over $90,000 donated to Northaven from
Black Tie in the past two years. It is
obvious to us that our incredibly generous showing is due to the hard work and
commitment of our own members. But we also know
we could not have done as well without
members of the community and sponsors outside of Northaven who chose us as a
beneficiary.So
to everyone we say:We are
extremely grateful to all of
you.Thank
you!
