Earth Day Market
Saturday, April 19. 8 am - 3
pm
Join us for an opportunity to REDUCE your household
items so that they can be REUSED, and RECYCLE those unwanted gifts and excess
clutter in your closets, garage, and attic, including old computer parts and
cell phones! If you have items to sell, we’ll provide advertising and a
GREAT location. Here’s how it works. You rent a space in the Northaven
parking lot for $20, set up your stuff from 7-9 pm Friday evening and/or 7-8 am
Saturday morning, sell it and keep the proceeds or donate some or all of the
proceeds to our Northaven Youth group for their mission trip this summer to the
Gulf Coast to help in post-Katrina
rebuilding.
The youth will also be
selling energy efficient light bulbs and the “youth power” to come
to your home and install them. Food donations for the bake sale run by the youth
will be welcomed as well! To sign up or for further information, contact Richard
Newton at Richard@northaven.org or call Alice Bradley-Harmon at
972-644-0046.
