Black Tie Dinner Beneficiary
Northaven UMC selected for a third straight
year!!!
Northaven Church learned this week that we have
once again been selected as a 2008 Beneficiary of the Black Tie
Dinner!!!
The dinner is held in the Fall of each year, and is attended by almost 3,000 persons. This year's dinner will be at the Adam's Mark Hotel on November 22 at 6 pm. Last year, Northaven's share of the Black Tie beneficiary distribution was over $46,000, and the dinner was a highlight of our church's year.
"As before, we are deeply honored by this continuing recognition for Northaven Church by the Dallas gay and lesbian community, and thrilled to be selected a third straight year," said Senior Pastor Eric Folkerth. "Being selected for Black Tie is a high honor. We are pleased to be partners with the dinner and look forward to another good year together."
As a beneficiary, there will be many opportunities for volunteers and participants in the Black Tie Dinner, and we'll post more about these as they become available.
