Northaven's Chuch in Society Commission has written
three "position papers" on crucial social issues, and is offering them to the
Northaven community for discussion, debate, and
action.
You may recall that these papers began with the CIS Commission "polling" our congregation last Fall, by asking each member to write down their thoughts on important social issues on a large display board in the Atrium.
That information was taken by the CIS Commission, and fashioned into the follow three position papers. Click on the links below to download them now:

It is the hope of the Church in Society Commission that each paper be studied, discussed, and ultimately serve as a challenge to further action and Christian witness in the world. Very soon, the commission will announce many different opportunities for members to discuss and learn more about these position papers.
