A list of those who played a key part in making a historic day special

The following is a list of of those who had a part in making the Consecration Day special:

Valinda O'Connor, the Chancel Choir and Ringleiders: for their great and inspiring music and procession
Patty Evans and the Music Maker Children: for their great singing
Carl Parker and the Joyful Noise Orchestra: for music that made our Bishop sit up and take notice
Jerry Cochran and the Northaven Movement Choir: for a joyous dance that started the service off just right
Matthew Hammond and Callahan Glabman, our Acolytes: When Matthew fell ill during the worship service (so sick that he eventually missed a week of school!!) Callahan stepped right in and finished the service as acolyte. Thanks to these fine young people and their willingness to serve!
Bill Warrick, Trey Jordan, Bob Sowder, and many other ushers: for dealing with the 660-plus persons who worshipped with us
The Church Staff: Chuck Cummings, Holly Price, John Hughes, Chris Hildebrand: for a million large and small details, including lots of water mopping and behind the scenes details
Nancy Kruh and April Hull: for layout/printing of the consecration bulletin
Nancy Kruh and Jan Deatherage: for the eight-page Northaven Historical Booklet
Dotti Timmins and the 50th Anniversary Committee: for the reception following Sunday morning worship, and for their archival work that contributed to so much of our publicity
Dotti Timmins and Nan Arnold: for ordering the Indian Hawthornes that grace the sanctuary space, to Nan for helping plant them permanently in our landscaping. (A list of individual donors will be posted to the blog soon...)
Special Events Commission: for the reception following the consecration service. Thanks to Rodd Gray, Rob and Robin Newman, Cynthia Shinoda, Kay Warrick, and many others.
Worship Commission: for hanging the special Lenten banners, and much additional coordinating work.
Membership Commission: for staffing the welcome table for clergy and dignitaries
Shannon Hamrick: for organizing our clergy on the afternoon of the service
Jane Marshall: for writing an incredible anthem for this historic day.
Curtis Henderson, Ken Benson, and Nancy Kruh: for ordering the commemorative plaque and honoring the Building Committee
The Building Committee: for all of their continuing hard work in these efforts..for not only seeing us through the construction of the building, but for continuing to work the details of lighting, sound, landscaping and other final issues.
Jackson Harkey and Carolyn Herter-Stalder: for serving as our official videographer and photographer.
The "Hanging Committee": for hanging the Wesley Historical Banners
Mark Daves: for building the sanctuary platform
