For our new chairs, new library shelves, and new Bible stand

During the past months, many people have volunteered many hours to ready our new building for use. However, there are two volunteers that have led efforts are above and beyond the call of duty.

Patty Evans led an effort to recover our old sanctuary chairs. Teams of volunteers came to the church over a period of several months, slowly and methodically recovering the old chairs to match the new, recently purchased, chairs.



Ben Marshall's work has been more on his own, but is not less impressive and generous. First, Ben hand constructed new bookshelves for our library. He did all the work-working and staining of these bookshelves by hand.

He's also constructed a new "Bible Stand" for our congregation. The new Bible stand utilizes the pattern that appears in our communion table and the Roy Redman organ, bringing together all these elements in a new and beautiful unity.





Thanks to both Ben and Patty for these incredibly generous contributions to our church!
