To be Ordained at Annual Conference: June 6th,


We're pleased to announce that Northavener, Shannon Hamrick, will be ordained to the office of Deacon in Full Connection in the United Methodist Church. Many of you know Shannon from her many connections to Northaven Church: as past chair of the Worship Commission, member of the Movement Choir and Women's Groups, Confirmation Mentor-leader, worship leader, and teacher in many settings.

As a Deacon, Shannon's full-time profession is as a therapist with the Pastoral Counseling and Education Center in Dallas. Deacons often serve a dual role of service to the church, and service to the world. In fact, Shannon's dual calling really personifies that part of a Deacon's ministry.

The ordination for Shannon will be a part of the North Texas Conference worship. Here are the details:
