Northavener Adriana Cobo-Frenkel was featured in
a Dallas Morning News story about the "North Dallas Artist Studio Tour." The
story is about this tour, which took place several weekends ago here in
Dallas.
Here's some of what the story says:
"The tour offers a host of artists who have found their niche in unusual forms, such as Adriana Cobo-Frenkel, who teaches biology at Richland College and sculpts marble in her home studio.
Dr. Cobo-Frenkel has traveled to Italy annually for the past 20 years to retrieve marble and hone her skills. She said her love of the organic and abstract forms of nature inspired her to begin working in marble."
