Lee TaftLee Taft is a nationally recognized expert on apology and the related reparative processes of forgiveness and reconciliation and is a pioneer in the movement to transform cultural and legal responses to conflict. Lee was a dually board certified trial specialist in Texas for twenty years before entering Harvard Divinity School in 1996. He received an M. Div. in 1999 and was named dean of students at Harvard Divinity School that same year.

 

In 2003 he created Taft Solutions, a consulting firm that provides a step-by-step method to resolve conflict. His method is designed to help clients not only resolve conflict but also preserve relationship. His essays have been published in the country’s leading scholarly journals such as the YALE LAW JOURNAL, the MICHIGAN LAW REVIEW, and the HARVARD HEALTH POLICY REVIEW. 

 

 

About the Retreat

What does forgiveness mean to you?  If you forgive must you resume relationship with the party who has harmed you?  And if you don't return to relationship have you truly forgiven?  Do you wonder if you should forgive, or, are you confused on how to repair broken relationships?  If any of these questions resonate with you, then come join us for a morning of education, reflection and conversation on the twin topics of forgiveness and reconciliation.

 

Retreat Format

The pace of the retreat will comfortable, alternating between brief presentations and times for personal reflection.  The format that will be utilized has proven effective in helping individuals to find their own personal way to understand and apply the attitudes, principles and actions of forgiveness and reconciliation.
