February 5 - 26    God and the Search for the Meaningful Life

Have you ever wondered why we do what we do, why there is suffering and violence, why it is often hard to see any meaning in life and feel good about ourselves, how we can live meaningfully in this crazy world and what God and theology and the Christian faith have to do with any of these issues?  Come and explore human nature and the nature of God and the relationship between the two and have a chance to ask all sorts of questions.

March 4 - April 8   Lenten Study Series

Come experience the Lenten Season as only Northaven can do.  This will be based on our literature selected by the Worship Commission of NHUMC.  You will not be disappointed to learn the real meaning of Lent and the Resurrection all over again.  We will draw on the staff of NUMC and others to bring us this special message. (Book Study with no required reading/class discussion).

April 15 - May 27   Free Form For All

In this class segment, we will take a look at a topic, event or movie that challenges us in our daily lives.   Come and explore topics ranging from politics to dealing with greed that invades our life.  Let’s explore how our Christian faith leads us in our daily lives.  The first topic on our list is the movie “I AM”, so do not miss out on this dynamic month.  (Video, book and/or class discussion format).
