Children are important to us at Northaven!

We offer a variety of ministries to nurture and accommodate our youngest congregants.

Sunday School

Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30. Sunday School classes taught by experienced teaching teams are available for preschool through fifth grade. We have nursery care for infants and toddlers. Our nursery and classes for children through the 3rd grade are located on the downstairs education hallway on the south side of the Church. Classes for 4th grade through high school are upstairs on the south hall.

Worship Service

Please feel free to bring your preschooler to church with you. We appreciate having children present in our worship services and provide quiet books and materials to help them as they develop the capacity to sit and participate in worship. You will find The Children's Shelf in the balcony just inside the south doors. Most Sunday worship services include a children's time. All children are invited to participate by coming to the front of the sanctuary and joining our Minister of Spiritual Formation, Mary Lowrance, for a story or discussion.

Vacation Bible School

Each summer Northaven invites children from the larger Dallas community to join with us for Vacation Bible School. Children’s Music Programs Music Makers is a choir for children in grades K-6 whose primary goal is singing, but who also have the opportunity to play instruments and bells. Music Makers rehearses on Sundays from 9:00 - 9:30 am.

Northaven Cooperative Preschool
