Peace and Justice: Compatibility and Conflict

Panel: Kelli Obazee, Director, Dallas Peace Center (DPC); Ryan Koch, President, DPC, Pastor, Peace Mennonite Church; John Fullinwider, Vice President, DPC, Educator and Social Activist

These three peace and justice leaders will reflect on two primary questions:

1. It is often said, “If you want peace, work for justice.” Yet when strong stands on justice are taken, it can result in alienating those with whom peace and reconciliation are sought. What are some considerations in making these decisions?

2. As these panelists experience peace and justice issues in the Dallas area, what do they see and what specific recommendations do they have for their listeners?
