Vacation Bible School Set for August 2-6

Northaven’s Vacation Bible School is not just for children anymore!

This year’s church Vacation Bible School, to be held August 2-6, will, again, be held at night and be intergenerational. Families are invited to participate with their children. This year’s theme is Creating Peacemakers. We will start each evening with a meal, a bible story, an activity, and a song. We will then work together on learning projects based on bible stories that teach acceptance, listening, communication, sharing, and awareness.

Throughout the week we will be collecting school supplies to donate because we know that education increases peace.

VBS is open for all ages. There will be a nursery for one and two year olds and a separate class for three year olds. If parents cannot attend with the child, the child will be "adopted" and included by another “family”. Adults are welcome to come without children. You won’t want to miss this community building week of activities.

The fee for this year's VBS is $15, payable at the church office or via PayPal
