What is a spiritual pilgrimage? (Hint: it is way different than a pilgrimage to Graceland). Come and explore the topic with Reverend Dr. Blair Thompson-White as she shares her dissertation research, Biblical scholarship, and personal experience that ultimately makes the case for why pilgrimage is essential to spiritual growth. She’ll equip you with seven practices of pilgrimage you can try in your daily life. Join us as we begin our journey in Lent with this conversation about “Pilgrimage as a Means of Grace.”

Blair Thompson-White Bio:

Blair Thompson-White is from Norman, Oklahoma.  Growing up, she spent a lot of time in the principal's office (waiting for her mother to finish her work for the day).  Blair graduated from the University of Kansas with her B.A. in English and Communications Studies.  Blair attended Perkins School of Theology for her Master of Divinity degree, and later a DMin. degree. She has worked at University Park United Methodist Church and interned at Greenland Hills United Methodist Church while at Perkins.

Upon graduation from seminary, Blair was appointed as Senior Pastor of Frontenac United Methodist Church in Frontenac, Kansas, where she served for two years before being appointed to First United Methodist Church of Dallas as Associate Minister of Discipleship in 2014, and Executive Associate Minister in 2016.  Blair became Senior Minister of Arapaho UMC in July 2016.

Blair is married to Adam White, who is commissioned as a Deacon in the United Methodist Church.
